In case you didn't see the pictures on facebook... here's part of yesterday morning's excitement.
The concrete porch roof and posts needed to be removed...
The guys had done as much preparation as they could before the crane arrived at 8am. Then, once the concrete slab was secured and by the chains, they could cut the rebar/concrete posts.
Eventually all of the 3 metric tons of weight were loaded into the refuse container.
Felt pretty good to get that project out of the way before school starts and parents and kids are on the parking lot next week!
