After breakfast we said good-bye to the youth from Trier today. Our focus (8 of us today) shifted to the regular Saturday cleaning and 'get-ready-for-church-tomorrow' mode. This afternoon, Gary and I left at 4:30ish, to the sounds of Juergen playing some German polkas :) - guess they got the sound system connected in the new space.
Yes - tomorrow's worship service will be in the newly painted multi-purpose room! Realizing that the chairs don't even fill a quarter of the space available, is a reminder to me that God's up to a bigger work than is visible to any of us right now. What a pleasant difference to have painted pillars and walls! The ceiling tiles and lights are beautiful... and after going to see them after dark last night, Gary said he would have stayed to lay the floor if the materials had been available.
