... unusual for some...., spontaneous fun for us cooks.
The hashbrown casserole, pancakes with berry sauce and ice cream, biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausages required that we cook/bake in the Pritzkau/Miller kitchens (apparently the jobsite will get a new stove)... It was a fun change :) Didn't count the extra steps carrying stuff to Lindhorstweg, nor how many times Kidron zipped up to her kitchen (3rd floor) for the extra cup of milk and eggs. Bonus for us - their house has a dishwasher!
The next day we created a chicken/spinach/white sauce lasagna recipe - as well as a ground meat/beans/corn/Mexican flavor lasagana... then, felt resourceful when we used left over biscuits, berry sauce and creamed cheese mix to make a dessert. Juergen suggested the dessert really needed some ice cream (ha - Gary was already on his way to Kaisers to get some).
But now, it's no cooking till Monday - taking the weekend off and are on our way to Stuttgart tomorrow morning.
